These are genuine antique Mintons China Works ceramic tiles from Stoke-on-Trent, England, late 1800s, each factory stamped MINTONS / CHINA WORKS on the back to prove it. Includes a VERY saught after tile "The Boy & The Flute'"

They were originally made to be set into fireplaces, washstands, and furniture, so this isn't a print of Victorian tile, it's the real thing, still capable of doing the job it was built for. If you're doing any kind of period renovation and want authentic antique material instead of a reproduction, these can go straight into a mantel, backsplash, or cabinet front. Beautiful tile condition, vintage wood frames show normal age wear. Sold only as the set of four. Finding these framed, with no chips is rare. These sell anywhere between $60-$300 each.
