That's why I started The Wander House. It matters to the person who owned the things. To the family letting them go. And to the person who welcomes them next.
I'm Danielle. I'm the one you'll talk to, from the first call to the last day of the sale.
Because I know what a secondhand thing can be.
I didn't have much of my own growing up. Thrift stores, yard sales, and estate sales were where I turned for the things I needed. That's how I learned to look closely, and to see what a thing could be, not just what it was.
I learned that something can have a whole life before it reaches you and still have so much left to give.
After years of walking through estate sales, I kept thinking the same thing. A sale could be done with more care. My rule has always been simple. If something can be done better, I will do it myself. So I started The Wander House.
An estate sale rarely happens on a good day.
Someone has passed. Someone is moving. A family is tired, or far away. The things in that house were chosen by a person, and they deserve to be handled that way.
Organized, efficient, and always open.

I run estate sales in the home, for families in Folsom and greater Sacramento. I also coordinate sales for families who live far away. When you want it, I can help with heirloom documentation and downsizing too.
Honest, careful and kind.
I will never pretend an item is more valuable than it is, hide a flaw, or treat someone's belongings like anonymous inventory.
I will research carefully, price fairly, and tell you the truth. Every piece belonged to someone before it reached me, and I handle it that way.
Good finds matter. So does how they are found, cared for, and passed on.
