This matching pair of David Douglas hurricane candle holders came out of Manitowoc, Wisconsin, in the 1960s, and they still have the original metal taper supports tucked inside their oversized glass globes. Most candlesticks disappear into a tablescape. These don't. Set them on a dining table for a dinner party that needs a centerpiece with actual scale, or split the pair across a mantel for two moments instead of one. Normal age-related wear to the bases, no major glass damage.
