Owens-Illinois glass, base embossed LIQUOR BOTTLE with a 1965 date code, topped with a deep amber ball stopper. From the era when federal law made every bottle say what it was and distillers made them beautiful anyway. Bourbon, colored water, or nothing at all, it earns the shelf.
